Train to Kashmir, Vande Bharat Express: The much-anticipated Vande Bharat trains for the Kashmir Valley are set to begin their inaugural run today. Indian Railways is launching two services for the region—one will operate on the Katra–Srinagar–Katra route, while the other will run from Srinagar to Katra and back. The Srinagar-SVDK Vande Bharat Inaugural Special will leave Srinagar at 11:45 hrs. and will reach the destination at 14:50 hrs. During its inaugural run today, the train number 02402 Srinagar-Katra Vande Bharat train will stop at major stations en route.
