Indian Railways, Humsafar Express: Indian Railways will introduce Humsafar Express in Sealdah-Jalpaiguri section. The regular service of 13115/13116 Sealdah-Jalpaiguri Road Humsafar Express will commence from June 20 and from Jalpaiguri Road from the next day, Eastern Railway CPRO Diptimoy Dutta told ET Now Digital. The Humsafar Express will run through the newly inaugurated Nashipur rail bridge over river Bhagirathi. The express train service will benefit passengers of Ranaghat, Krishnanagar, Berhampore, Azimganj and Jangipur stations, providing faster and direct connectivity between south and north Bengal, he said, as reported by news agency PTI. Sealdah to Jalpaiguri Road Humsafar Express: Routes Sealdah to Jalpaiguri Road Humsafar Express will pass through Naihati, Ranaghat, Krishnanagar City, Brehampore Court, Azimganj, Jangipur Road, New Farakka, Malda Town, Samsi, Barsoi, Kishanganj, Aluabari Road, New Jalpaiguri, Jalpaiguri Road. Sealdah to Jalpaiguri Road Humsafar Express: Train Timing13115 Sealdah – Jalpaiguri Road Humsafar weekly Express will leave Sealdah at 23:40 hrs. on every Friday to reach Jalpaiguri Road at 12:00 hrs. on the next day and 13116 Jalpaiguri Road – Sealdah Humsafar weekly Express will leave Jalpaiguri Road at 20:30 hrs. on every Saturday to reach Sealdah at 08:10 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Naihati, Ranaghat, Krishnanagar City jn., Berhampore Court, Azimganj, Jangipur Road, New Farakka, Malda Town, Samsi, Barsoi, Kishanganj, Aluabari Road and New Jalpaiguri stations enroute in both directions. The train will have Sleeper Class and Air Conditioned accommodations, ER release read. Inaugural special between Jalpaiguri Road and Sealdah to commence tomorrow Meanwhile, an inaugural special will run between Jalpaiguri Road and Sealdah on June 14, 2025. The proposed 03116 Jalpaiguri – Sealdah special (one way) will leave Jalpaiguri Road at 14:00 hrs. to reach Sealdah at 04:00 hrs. on the next day, the release read.
